PROJECT TITLE: THE MICHAIL PSELLOS PROJECT III - Creation of a Master's in European Public Law and European Integration at the University of Bahçesehir in Istanbul

COUNTRIES: Turkey 

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To contribute to the European perspective of Turkey and the comprehension of the way that contemporary Europe is structured and how it functions. To train students on both European Public Law and the European Institutions as well as the current political, legal, social and economic situation within the EU through the encouragement of the participants' familiarization with the EU policies and politics.

ACTIVITIES:

The European Public Law Organization organized for the third consecutive year the Master’s in European Public Law and European Union in Istanbul on a self funded basis.

In total, fourteen students were registered and attended the lectures delivered within the premises of the University of Bahcesehir in Istanbul, on selected topics of European Public Law and European Integration.

Activities included: 

  • One week- lectures and seminars, conducted by both EU and Turkish professors;
  • 40.000-word dissertation for the students who are following the taught course;
  • A one- month study visit of 20 students in Greece;
  • Participation of students in KIKONES PROJECT.
