Event on the mapping of the Greek Justice System

The EPLO's Institute for Justice and Growth is organizing an event on the subject "The mapping of the Greek Justice system; European Experiences - Current Situation - Proposals for Reform" at the EPLO premises in Plaka, on Thursday 28.09.2017 at 18:00.

The Working Group dedicated on the subject will present the findings of its research.

The event will be co-ordinated by the General Commissioner of the Administrative Courts, MsEftichiaFountoulaki.

The working group is headed by the Councilor of State and Assistant Professor at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, MrMichailPikramenos, with the participation of:

1. MrAlkiviadisFeresidis, Presiding Judge at the Athens Court of First Instance

2. MrLambrosTsogas, Public Prosecutor at the Thessaloniki Court of First Instance

3. Mr Spyridon Kapodistrias, Judge at the Athens Court of First Instance

 

Mr VasiliosAndroulakis, Associate Judge at the Council of State, will present "Views on the Reform of the Judicial Mapin France".

After the presentation of the survey, the Professor of Constitutional Law at the Law School of the National andKapodistrian University of Athens, Mr Georgios Gerapetritis, will provide a critical review on the findings of the study which will be followed by an opendiscussion.

A welcome address will be provided by the President of the Institute for Justice and Growth Mr Nicolas Kanellopoulos.
