Visit of the Director of the EPLO to Baku
A two-day visit to the capital Baku of Azerbaijan, was carried out by the Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) Prof S.Flogaitis on the 26th and 27th of April 2016, following the invitation of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) on the occasion of the 7th UNAOC Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) held in Baku.
The Forum's topic was “Living Together in Inclusive Societies. A Challenge and a Goal” and it gathered nearly 3.000 participants, including political leaders, representatives of international and regional Organizations, the civil society, the academia, the private sector etc. The Forum aimed to explore new ways of promoting a cross-cultural dialogue and understanding and to spark new partnerships.
During his visit to Baku, the Director of the EPLO had the opportunity to have an official meeting with the Minister of Justice Mr F.Mamadov and the Dep Minister Mr. T.Musayev, at the Ministry of Justice as well as with the Ambassador of Greece in Azerbaijan Mr. Dimitris Tsoungas.
