The 2015 session of the “Academy of European Public Law" is now open for applications
For the 21st consecutive year the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is launching the 2015 Academy of European Public Law (www.eploacademy.eu) which is carried out, between the months of August and September, each year, at the EPLO premises in Sounion, Athens, Greece.
World-Class Academics & Up To Date Curricula from the most Prestigious Universities of the World
Founded in 1995, the Academy is the most historic and established education institution of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO). The Academy offers 3-week summer study sessions for those interested in furthering their knowledge on the philosophical backdrop of different European national public law systems, as well as on their commonalities and differences. Students may attend one session to earn a Certificate of Attendance in European Public Law, or, attend two consecutive summer sessions to obtain the Intensive International Master of Laws (I.I.LL.M.) in European Public Law. This year’s general lecture on “The Making of the European Banking Union” will be delivered by Prof. Christos Gortsos (Panteion University) while this year’s seminars will be delivered by: Prof. Elaine Mak (Erasmus University Rotterdam) on the “Rule-of-Law Institutions in the evolving European Context”, by Prof. Julian Roberts (University of Oxford) on the “Sentencing in Common Law Jurisdictions" and by Dr. Vincenzo Ferraro (University of Firenze) on "The supranational legal orders and the internal public law: the examples of citizenship’s notion and of the consular and diplomatic protection in the interaction between the different legal systems” . Classes are given both in English and French.

Eligible applicants to both programs should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in law, or political science, European studies, international affairs and other related fields. In addition, eligible applicants should be proficient in English for academic purposes and have working knowledge of French or be proficient in French for academic purposes and have working knowledge of English.
