EPLO Takes Part for the First Time in the Lisbon Diplomatic Bazaar

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) marked its first participation in the Diplomatic Bazaar held on 14–15 November 2025 at the Lisbon Congress Centre. The annual charity event, organized by the Portuguese Diplomats’ Families Association, brings together Embassies and international organizations accredited in Lisbon under the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Portugal, Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Recognized as a unique opportunity for diplomatic engagement, cultural exchange, and support for social causes, the Diplomatic Bazaar has long been valued by participating Embassies. This year, all funds raised will benefit institutions dedicated to assisting the homeless.

The EPLO stand attracted numerous visitors throughout the two-day event, including His Excellency the President of the Republic, considered one of the “founding fathers” of the EPLO and representing a member State of the Organization. His visit underscored the strong ties between Portugal and the EPLO, as well as the Organization’s growing presence in the country.

The event also served as an enriching experience for students of the European Law & Governance School (ELGS), who volunteered at the EPLO stand. Their participation offered them a chance to network, engage with the diplomatic community, and immerse themselves in an environment that reflects the values of international cooperation and public service.
