Professor I. Katsogiannis of the Institute of Sustainable Water Management and Water Law in the top 2% of scientists worldwide

Professor I. Katsoyiannis Director of the Institute of Sustainable Water Management and Water Law of the EPLO, is included for 2023 in the top 2% of scientists worldwide in the field of environmental chemistry and technology, according to the recent publication of the Stanford University list.

The list identifies the leading scholars in their fields of expertise whose publications are more frequently cited than other authors worldwide. The analysis prepared by a team of Stanford University experts led by Professor John Ioannidis, was conducted based on a number of indicators focusing on the impact of their published work during the year 2022, and concerns an evaluation of these indicators for more than 8,000,000 scientists worldwide, and lists scientists whose published research papers have accelerated progress in their respective fields and influenced the development of the work of other researchers.

Professor Katsoyiannis is included in this list for 4 consecutive years, which shows the continuity and consistency in his work.

EPLO congratulates Professor Katsoyiannis for this success and wishes him a good and succesful continuation in his work, both in the university and the organization.
