Meeting of the 3rd Steering Committee of the "STAND UP" project in Athens

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) organized the 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the EU funded project “STAND-UP: Standing up against hate in the EU” on May 4th, 2023, at the Organization's premises at the Roman Agora.

During the meeting, the project’s coordinator the Procura della Repubblica di Trento (Italy) together with partners of the Prosecution office of Venice (Italy), the Fondazione Agenfor International (Italy), the Fundación Euroárabe de Altos Estudios (Spain), the European Public Law Organization (Greece), the Greek National Commission for Human Rights (Greece) and the Association Des Agences de la Démocratie Locale (France) had the opportunity to present the progress of the project’s implemented activities as well as to discuss upon the planning of the capacity building activities to be held in Greece, Spain and Italy within the upcoming months.

The training that will take place in Greece aims mainly at public authorities and officials of justice, such as prosecutors & judges, members of the Law Enforcement Authorities such as the police authorities, as well as at members of Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organizations.

During the training, the participants will familiarize themselves with tailored made tools while Virtual Reality technology will be used via specific VR scenarios.
