The EuroMed Justice team meets with the representatives of the consortium Fondazione SAFE / EPLO

During the first week of November  in Soave, Italy,the EuroMed Justice team met with the representatives of Fondazione SAFE and European Public Law Organization (EPLO), part of the SAFE/ EPLO, the consortium selected to implement EuroMed Justice Programme Component.

This was the first face to face meeting with the partners from SAFE/ EPLO to discuss about the development and implementation of the training component of the EuroMed Justice Programme.

The constructive and pragmatic discussions helped advance with the design of the training programme and the draft of the training methodology.

21 trainings for criminal justice authorities from South Partner Countries (SPCs) and European Union Member States (EU MSs) and joint ones will be delivered in 2022 with the aim of fostering the capacities of these criminal justice authorities to prevent and address serious cross-border crime and strengthen the international judicial cooperation in criminal matters in the cross-Mediterranean region. The training programme will fully make use of the practical tools developed within the framework of EuroMed Justice Programme.

The first trainings will start at the beginning of 2022.
