Call for Experts: "Technical Assistance for the implementation of the Governmental Plan for the promotion of gender equality II (PGE II) in Morocco"
The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) has been shortlisted for the project "Technical Assistance for the implementation of the Governmental Plan for the promotion of gender equality II (PGE II) in Morocco” (EuropeAid/140605/DH/SER/MA).
The implementation of the EU support program aims to help improve the conditions for promoting equality and equity between women and men in Morocco.
The indicative start date is in mid November 2020 and the planned project duration is 39 months.
In this framework, the EPLO is seeking qualified candidates for the two Key Expert positions in the project: 1) Team Leader; 2) Expert in Gender Equality. The mandatory requirements for the positions are listed below.

Key Expert 1/Team leader- Senior expert in administrative and Financial management
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum requirement: a higher education diploma at Masters level (BAC + 5) in management, in economic, social or political sciences, or in law or an equivalent professional qualification of 12 years.
- Minimum requirement: a very good command of the spoken and written French language.
- Asset: knowledge of Arabic.
General professional experience
- Minimum requirement: At least 12 years of experience in coordination and / or operational and administrative and financial management of a project
Specific professional experience
- Minimum requirement: at least 2 years of professional experience in the supervision of teams in the field of administrative and financial management of multisectoral technical assistance in a third country. Experience in at least one international cooperation program on similar projects in a country with similar income level as Morocco.
Key Expert 2- Senior expert specialized in the promotion of gender equality
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum requirement: a higher education diploma at minimum BAC + 5 level in legal sciences, social sciences, human sciences or economics or an equivalent professional qualification of 12 years
- Minimum requirement: a very good command of the spoken and written French language.
- Asset: a diploma certifying the experience in gender equality
General professional experience
- Minimum requirement: At least 12 years of general professional experience in social fields, including gender-based human rights.
Specific professional experience
- Minimum requirement: at least 5 years of professional experience in development cooperation projects.
- Minimum requirement: at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of gender equality or women's rights and / or in social action (quality management of social action organizations and establishments, including those specifically targeting groups in vulnerable situations, including women)
- Asset: professional experience in southern neighboring countries of the EU
- Asset: at least 2 years of professional experience in promoting equality and / or combating violence against girls and women internationally.
