Call for Experts for the project:"Technical Assistance for Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination" in Turkey (NEAR/ANK/2021/EA-RP/0028)

The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) has been shortlisted for the EU-funded project: “Technical Assistance for Strengthening Fundamental Rights Sector Coordination" in Turkey (NEAR/ANK/2021/EA-RP/0028).

The overall objective of the project is to promote and support a common understanding of the main topics pertaining to fundamental rights and to enhance the fundamental rights coordination and cooperation. The indicative start date is on the 1st December 2021 and the planned project duration is 24 months.

In this framework, the EPLO is seeking qualified candidates for the Team leader and Key Expert 2 positions described below.

Key Expert 1: Team Leader (TL)-Fundamental rights expert

Qualifications and skills:

  • At least Master's degree in law, fundamental rights, international relations, public administration, political sciences or equivalent. In the absence of required degree, the expert will have equivalent professional experience ofat least 11 years in the fundamental rights sector.
  • At least B2 level of English as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

General Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the fundamental rights sector.
  • At least 3 project experiences in a managerial position such as TeamLeader, Project Manager or equivalent

Specific Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 experiences in policy or strategy development related to fundamental rights,
  • Experience with an international human rights body,
  • Working experience with the Council of Europe will be an asset

 

Key Expert 2 - Capacity Building expert

Qualifications and skills:
• At least Master's degree in law, human rights, fundamental rights, international relations, public administration, political sciences or equivalent. In the absence of required degree, the expert will have equivalent professional experience of at least 9 years in the fundamental rights sector.
• At least B2 level of English as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

General Professional Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the fundamental rights sector.

Specific Professional Experience:
• Minimum 3 experiences in the organisation and/or planning of trainings related to fundamental rights.
