The 36th EGPL Annual Reunion
The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) successfully hosted the 2025 Reunion of the European Group of Public Law (EGPL) on 12–13 September 2025, bringing together distinguished judges, academics, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond. The conference addressed the overarching theme “International Law, European Union Law, Constitutional Law”, fostering a dynamic dialogue on the evolving relationship between legal orders in a rapidly changing world.
The Reunion began with the First Session, presided over by Prof. Ronny Abraham, Judge at the International Court of Justice. This session examined International Law Standards in National Constitutional Law, with notable interventions:

The General Conclusions were presented in the Fourth Session by Prof. Jean-Bernard Auby (Sciences Po, France), providing a synthesis of the debates.
The highlight of the Reunion was the ceremony celebrating the 90th anniversaries of Prof. Sabino Cassese and Prof. Gérard Timsit, presided over by Prof. Prokopios Pavlopoulos, former President of the Hellenic Republic. The celebration featured tributes from eminent figures, including:

The EGPL 2025 Reunion once again affirmed its role as a leading forum for dialogue on public law at the intersection of international, European, and constitutional legal orders. The event combined rigorous academic debate with the celebration of scholarly achievements, continuing the tradition of excellence fostered by the European Public Law Organization.
