"Women and Europe: A Synergy of Strength and Driving Force" Celebrating Europe Day at EPLO
Athens, 9 May 2025 — The Circular Economy and Climate Institute of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), in collaboration with the NGOs More Women in Power and Women Act, is honored to host a special event on the occasion of Europe Day titled “Women and Europe: A Synergy of Strength and Driving Force.”
The event will take place on Friday, 9 May 2025, from 17:00 to 20:00 EET, at the EPLO premises in Plaka. Distinguished speakers and high-level participants will explore the essential role of women in shaping Europe’s future, from leadership in circular entrepreneurship to their influence in redefining the EU’s institutional architecture.
Keynote addresses and panels will feature contributions by government officials, policy makers, and thought leaders including Ms. Sevi Voloudaki, Deputy Minister for Migration and Asylum of Greece; Ms. Zaritsa Dinkova, former Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria; Dr. Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou, Chair of the Environment Committee of the Hellenic Parliament; and Ms. Rositsa Kirova, former Deputy Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly.
