Prof. Spyridon Flogaitis, EPLO Director, welcomed all the participants and continued to chair the meeting. He specially thanked Prof. Giuliano Amato, former Prime Minister of Italy and founding member of the Organization.

The first topic on the meeting's agenda included the announcement of the new Board members, bringing the total number of members to 2 International Organizations, 13 States, 3 Public Authorities and 60 Universities and institutes located in 32 countries around the world.

Then, an overview of the activities and developments of the Organization, and in particular its participation in international fora and conferences, its cooperation agreements and potential future collaborations were presented.
