The European University Cyprus joins the EPLO as the 60th institution in its Board of Directors

The European University Cyprus has become the latest and 60th institutional member of the EPLO, while it is the first institution of Cyprus to join the EPLO Board of Directors.

In January 2011, the EPLO and the European University Cyprus had signed a Memorandum of Understanding for developing cooperation in the areas of theoretical and applied scientific research of the Greek, Cypriot, European and comparative public law, public policy and institutions and the provision of support to new EU Member States among others.

The creation of the EPLO became effective on 21 June 2007, upon receipt by the Depositary of notifications by three parties, namely the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Italy and the Republic of Cyprus to the Statute that the formalities required by the national legislation of such parties with respect to this Statute had been accomplished.
