“Revision of the Constitution: Justice”

What changes concerning Justice must be done during the revision of the Constitution? What did the experiences show following the latest revisions and what does the new setting that the economic crisis has created require in this matter?

These topics are to be discussed at the event “Revision of the Constitution: Justice” the EPLO is organizing on Thursday, 4 April, at 4pm, at its Athens headquarters (Achaiou 16, Dexameni, Kolonaki).

Panagiotis Pikrammenos, former Prime Minister of Greece, will preside over the event, and Olga Kefalogianni, Minister of Tourism, Zoi Konstantopoulou, SYRIZA MP, Milena Apostolaki, former Minister will be the speakers.

The event is part of a new EPLO initiative concerned with the approach of critical issues Greece faces, pertaining to public law and administration –the main areas of the EPLO international activities – and involving the recording of experiences, the analysis of good practices other countries have, the formulation of proposals etc.

Other events under this initiative involved with migration policy and the adverse effects of the crisis on the population have been organized. Next Thursday’s event is the second one concerned with the revision of the Constitution. The first one took place on 25 February with great success and a high degree of audience participation.
