The Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) awarded to ELGS

Rome, July 2025

The European Law & Governance School (ELGS), an academic institution under the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), proudly announces that it has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) by the European Commission.

This prestigious recognition affirms the ELGS’s full alignment with the European standards of academic excellence, international cooperation, and institutional quality required for participation in the Erasmus+ program.

The ECHE opens new horizons for ELGS, enabling active engagement in student and staff mobility, academic and research partnerships, and EU-funded educational projects. Most importantly, it establishes ELGS as a fully recognized player in the European Higher Education Area, reinforcing its mission to shape the next generation of global leaders in law and governance.

As the ELGS continues to expand its presence, including its strategic development in Rome, this milestone marks a transformative step forward in its internationalization efforts—offering students and faculty unprecedented opportunities for growth, collaboration, and impact.

The future of legal and governance education at ELGS is now more connected, innovative, and European than ever.
