An order was adopted on the signing of the Treaty between the Government of Ukraine and the EPLO

February 14th, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution “On the signing of the Treaty between the Government of Ukraine and the European Public Law Organization on the establishment of an office of the European Organization for Public Law in Ukraine”.

The agreement is aimed at updating the contractual and legal framework with the European Public Law Organization (hereinafter referred to as the EPLO), strengthening and developing cooperation, in particular, introducing a permanent presence of the EPLO in Ukraine, which will expand the project activities of this organization in our country.

The agreement also defines the main provisions regarding the permanent presence and activities of the EOPL in Ukraine, which will allow for cooperation with the organization for the further implementation of legal reform, in particular in the direction of training highly qualified specialists in the field of law.

On October 21, 2022, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the Law of Ukraine “On Ukraine’s Accession to the Treaty on the Establishment and Statute of the European Public Law Organization” (adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on October 6, 2022 No. 2634-IX).
