CoastalPro: New EU-Funded Project for the EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development
The EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development participated in the Kick-off Meeting on the island of Lemnos, Greece, last week of CoastalPro, a new Blue Economy European project, in which the Institute is a partner. Funded by the European Commission under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF-2023-BlueCareers), the project’s main objectives include the creation of state-of-the-art learning tools, the provision of training and support courses of the highest quality, as well as the development of an innovative competence framework in the field of Coastal Tourism. Leveraging the expertise of the Institute’s team in the Blue Economy, Training and ESG/Sustainability, the Institute will be working on creating innovative courses in Coastal Tourism and promote sustainable blue practices.
