Second scientific advisory council at EPLO Cascais

The second meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council of the EPLO´s Regional Branch was held on 2 July at the Casa de Santa Maria in Cascais, Portugal. The annual meeting of the Scientific Advisory Council of the EPLO´S Regional Branch brought together the President of the Scientific Advisory Council Professor Jose Manuel Sérvulo Correia, its members - Professor Luis-Maria Diez-Picaso, Professor Spyros Vlachopoulos, as well as Professor Rui Lanceiro, Ambassador of Greece to Portugal Ioannis Metaxas, Representative of the Municipality of Cascais Teresa Violante, and the EPLO´s Director Professor Spyridon Flogaitis. 

During the meeting, a number of important issues were discussed, such as the further promotion and development of the EPLO´s relations with the Community of the Portuguese-speaking countries (CPLP) and the Ibo-American countries (SEGIB), EPLO´s collaboration with Brazil,  the EPLO´s participation in the UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon, and the preparatory work for the organization of the EPLO´s annual international conference, among other topics. The Scientific Advisory Council´s meeting was followed by lunch at the Cascais Marina.
