Vacancies for the EPLO International Traineeship Program

EPLO is currently seeking trainees for its International Traineeship Program which will be implemented at the EPLO headquarters in Athens and the EPLO Office in Rome.

The traineeship program is divided into two phases:

Phase 1: Two months of intensive training at the EPLO headquarters in Athens.

During this phase, the trainees will be engaged in various administrative tasks, research, and educational activities and they will assist the EPLO departments with project coordination, data analysis, and general administrative support.

Phase 2: Six months of training at the EPLO Office in Rome.

During this phase, the trainees will:

  • Assist the Office in its mission and activities.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and reporting on all project activities of the Office.
  • Support the Director in the administrative management of the Office.
  • Perform the daily administrative tasks of the Office.
  • Provide administrative support to events, conferences, committees, meetings, workshops, etc.
  • Assist in the implementation of academic and educational activities of the Office.
  • Support the Office in its communication needs.

Required:

  • A Bachelor's or a Master degree in Law, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Public Management/Administration, International Relations, or any other field;
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency;
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team;
  • Mother tongue shall be preferably one of the following: Hungarian, Czech, Slovakian.
  • To be proficient in English and possibly Italian.
  • Working experience in an international and diverse environment will be considered an asset.

The EPLO international traineeship program is addressed to younger people with a bachelor's or a master degree preferably, but not exclusively, in the academic fields mentioned above who want to make their first professional steps in an international organization and work with a highly qualified team.

The traineeship program is paid and physical presence is required. At the end of the traineeship, the EPLO shall evaluate the quality of the trainee and may offer him/her a job for its Office in Rome.
