Researchers, Administrative Assistants and Interns for EPLO Office in Rome

EPLO is currently recruiting up to five full time Researchers, Administrative Assistants, Accountants and Interns for its Office in Rome, Italy.

 

Under the supervision of the Director of the Office, you will inter alia:

  • Prepare, organize, and report on all project activities of the Office, as well as events, workshops, trainings, academic teaching, regional consultations, and publications;
  • Assist the Office in its mission and activities;
  • Assist in the implementation of academic and training activities and events of the Office;
  • Conduct research, desk reviews and liaise with external experts and consultants to draft, co-develop, review, and finalize all research and policy outputs on topics related to the activities of the EPLO.
  • Conduct the financial and logistics management of the Office.
  • Be physically present.

 

Required:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Law, Political Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Public Management/Administration, Finance/Accounting, International Relations, Languages or another field;
  • Previous experience;
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a strong sense of thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency;
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Good communication skills;
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of languages spoken on Visegrad Countries will be considered an asset

Italian, French or any other language(s) would be appreciated.

Preferred:

  • Experience in academic or administrative work in an international and diverse environment

The researcher(s) and the administrative assistant(s) shall be staff members of the EPLO (www1.eplo.int) and therefore international civil servants. Their net annual salary may be between 18.000 and 24.000 Euro, while health insurance will be provided as plus.

The EPLO also encourages applications for internships for its Office in Rome, Italy. The internship is addressed to young people with bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably, but not exclusively, in the academic fields mentioned above who want to do their first professional steps in an international organization and work with a highly qualified team. The internship is unpaid and its duration varies from 3 to 12 months.
