Call for Experts for the project: “EU Support to Intellectual Property Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina”
The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) has been shortlisted for the project: “EU Support to Intellectual Property Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina” (Europeaid/140907/DH/SER/BA).
The purpose of this project is to enforce IPR system in support of creative economy, social and cultural development. The indicative start date is June 2021 and the planned project duration is 36 months.
In this framework, the EPLO is seeking qualified candidates for the two (2) Key Expert positions in the project: 1) Team Leader; 2) Key Expert 2. The mandatory requirements for the positions are listed below.

Key expert 1: Team leader
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree in Law;
- Expert must be fluent in spoken and written English;
- Knowledge of one of three official languages in BiH will be an asset.
General professional experience:
- Preferably15 years, but minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to intellectual property rights.
Specific professional experience:
- Preferably 10 years, but minimum of 7 years of experience in implementing legislation in the area of industrial property;
- Preferably 4, but minimum experience in drafting of two laws and/or by-laws in the area of intellectual property;
- Preferably 5 years, but minimum of 3 years' experience as a team leader and/or in staff management position, managing a team of minimum 3 persons;
Key expert 2
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree;
- Expert must be fluent in spoken and written English;
- Knowledge of one of three official languages in BiH will be an asset.
General professional experience:
- Preferably 15 years, but minimum of 10 years of professional experience related to intellectual property rights.
Specific professional experience:
- Preferably 10 years, but minimum of 7 years of experience in implementation of laws relating to copyright and related rights and collective management of copyright and related rights;
- Experience on preferably 2, but minimum on 1 internationally funded project in the area of intellectual property in EU and/or enlargement countries;
