International Conference on the Rule of Law after the pandemic
Rule of Law after the Pandemic, in Times of War and Economic Crisis (Three Years Later) Faculty of Law Titu Maiorescu University Bucharest to be held in Bucharest, 11-12 October 2022
The initial event was co-organized together with the international organization European Public Law Organization - EPLO, which gathers the most important experts in public law worldwide. Indeed, some of the most important voices of European Public Law honored the invitation and debated on the probably most influential political and legal concept of our times. Based on the success of this first event, the initial co-organizers, Faculty of Law of Titu Maiorescu University and European Public Law Organization – EPLO, together with Salvador de Maradiaga University Institute of European Studies – University of A Coruña, took the decision to hold a follow up conference on the subject, to assess the transformations in this field in the challenging times that the global community is facing since 2020.
Therefore, the 2022 edition of the conference will address these challenges under the title ”Rule of Law after the Pandemic, in Times of War and Economic Crisis (Three Years Later)”. The workings of the conference will take the shape of four thematic panels:
i. The Rule of Law in European Union
ii. Rule of Law and Constitutional Law
iii. Rule of Law and Administrative Law 2
iv. Private Law and the Rule of Law The International Conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, professors, doctoral students, students, and law practitioners to exchange and share their experiences and research results on the most diverse of issues related to various aspects of the central theme.

• Procedure to be followed by the authors
- Sending the abstract of the paper to be presented (drafted in English, 300-500 words) to the email rolconference2022@univ.utm.ro – deadline 21.09.2022.
- Notification of acceptance for the proposed paper after the review performed by an international selection committee – deadline 25.09.2022.
- Presentation of the paper in English during the conference to be held with physical presence (15-20 minutes) on 11-12.10.2022.
- Sending the paper drafted in English language (4,000-8,000 words) – deadline 15.12.2022.
- The volume of the conference will be edited during the first part of 2023.

Each author can participate at the conference with one paper. Papers with more than two co-authors are not allowed. The presentation of the papers by the authors in the conference proceedings is an imperative requirement for the publication of the articles in the conference volume.
