           Circle the Med forum 2022 by the Circular Climate Institute of the EPLO
           23 November 2022

           The third edition of Circle the Med Forum 2022 took place in Zappeion historic building in Athens, Greece, and
           had an immense success, gathering over 3600 delegates, 400 at the venue and 3,200 online, from 60 countries
           from all over the world. 3 Prime Ministers, 14 Ministers and Alternate Ministers, Members of the European
           Parliament and representatives of prominent organizations attended. Circle the Med Forum was honored by the
           presence of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Omar Amer Youssef (hosting country of COP27),
           and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Mr. Sulaiman Humad Salem Al Mazroui who marked the start
           of the cooperation of the Circle the Med Forum with the UAE, in view of the organization of COP 28 in Dubai.

           Circle the Med is now well established, as an institution and a sounding board, as a network of key players in the
           region, as a climate, environmental and energy, but also cultural diplomacy forum. It is the circular economy
           network  par  excellence  and  the  forum  within  which best  practices  are  developed,  capacity  and  institutional
           building  initiatives  and  synergies  are  initiated,  and  bridges  between  the  north  and  the  south  shore  of  the
           Mediterranean are built.
