INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The EPLO has welcomed more than 200 interns from various countries all over the world including all five
continents for an internship from two up to six months. In the specific period, the EPLO received students from
the National Aviation University, Northeastern University, Riga Graduate School of Law, Universidad Carlos II
Madrid, University of Bologna, University of Perugia, Shanghai University, University of Nottingham and University
           of Tours.

The objective of the internship program is primarily two-fold: to provide interns with an opportunity to develop
professionally and personally and to assist the EPLO staff, who has the chance to interact with new talent. The
objectives of the program are met by carefully matching students with supervisors who manage the interns’ work
plan throughout their internship at EPLO. During the period of the internship, students are constantly supported
by the coordinator of the program. In addition to gaining work experience, interns are offered relevant on-the-job
training opportunities and the chance to attend events and education programs of the EPLO and they participate
in several organized cultural tours to key landmarks in Greece, such as the Acropolis, Sounion and Nafplio.

In the short term, students adapt to another country and culture and become self-sufficient in a supportive
environment, mingling at the same time with other young people from all over the world. In the mid-term, interns
become familiar with the structure, function and areas of activity of the EPLO, as well as the way that different
departments work to achieve the goals of the Organization. In the long term, interns further explore potential
career opportunities, become part of a greater network and develop transferrable professional and personal skills
which will help them manage complex situations.
Applications are accepted throughout the year, while a few positions are offered, on a ad hoc basis, for posts at
EPLO offices outside Greece. You may visit here for full details and here for a presentation of the EPLO Internship
           Program in video format.
