Inception Meeting of the project “Industrial Ecosystems"

On the 7th of February 2024 and in the context of the project “Industrial Ecosystems – Supporting the implementation of the Greek National Industrial Strategy”, funded by DG Reform,  EPLO hosted the official Inception Meeting.

The general objective of the project is to elevate Greece's industrial landscape through innovation, resilience, and skill empowerment. EPLO will be in charge of drafting an action plan for the unification & simplification of national regulatory framework for the registration of IP rights in line with the EU legislation as well as a formulate proposals of a governance mechanism and related tools for effective policy design and implementation in the area of Intellectual Property.

During the meeting, the representatives of the main Beneficiary Authority, the General Secretariat for Industry (GSI) of the Ministry of Development and Investments of Greece and other main stakeholders including the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation (OBI), the General Secretariat for Vocational Education, Training, Lifelong Learning and Youth of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, the Public Employment Service (DYPA), the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the General Secretariat of Coordination, discussed on the  objectives of the project and on the next steps of its implementation.

The project is led by Deloitte with EPLO, EKETA - CERTH, KiNNO Innovation Intermediaries, University of Piraeus Research Center, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) as partners.
