S3E celebrates the Charge Open Day to introduce Southern Europe’s top deep tech startups

The South European Entrepreneurship Engine (S3E) is hosting an online Open Day on 24th April to introduce the 17 startups participating in the 2024 edition of S3E Charge, the EU-funded Acceleration Program for deep tech growth startups.

After completing the 14-week program of training and mentoring focused on developing an investment-ready business plan, the 17 selected startups are now ready to start accessing dilutive and non-dilutive funding opportunities within Europe and beyond.

Thanks to the Charge Open Day, facilitated by the S3E consortium, the startups will have the opportunity to pitch in front of international investors looking for innovative and disruptive deep tech solutions across diverse sectors — from agritech and healthcare, all the way to naval, tourism and cultural industries.

Check the S3E Charge Booklet to meet the 17 startups pitching at the Open Day.

S3E kindly invites investors, business angels and innovation hubs to join the online open day on Wednesday 24th April, at 12:00 CET, to meet the startups paving the way for the present and future of deep tech in Southern Europe. Other tech startups, researchers and members of the general public are also welcome to attend.

European leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship will be joining the event as keynote speakers, including: Stella Konakchieva, Project Officer at EISMEA; Sonia Marzo Arnaez, Customer Success Manager (Financial Services) at Microsoft; Dimitris Kalavros-Gousiou, Venture Capital Investor & Entrepreneur; Spyros Kouvelis, Director at EPLO Institute for Sustainable Development; and Christina Deligianni, S3E Charge Programme Coordinator.
