European Legal Dialogues at Cambridge

The Wolfson College Campbridge Sir David Williams European Legal Dialogues shall be organized yearly in Wolfson College, in memory of Professor Sir David Williams, former President of the College, Vice Chancellor of the University and former President of the European Scientific Council of the EPLO. The events shall be presided by The Right Honorable Lord Justice John Laws.

This title of this year’s event is "The contribution of Judges to the development of Public Law", a theme of first priority indeed.This first event will take place on Tuesday 27th of June at 3pm at Wolfson College Cambridge and will be concluded by 6pm. A formal dinner for registered participants will follow, as part of the College's formal dinner of the day. Registration for the event as well as for accommodation and for the dinner can be done at the Registration page in the event's website.

The events shall be organized as a three hour discussion of Socratic-platonic character led and animated by the Right Honorable Lord Justice John Laws, between two distinguished lawyers, one common lawyer and one continental European lawyer, with the participation of the public where a few distinguished personalities from continental Europe and Great Britain or overseas, shall be invited to participate actively as discussants.

The project is directed by Professor David Feldman and Professor Spyridon Flogaitis.
