Annual Award for the Promotion of Transparency and the Protection of Human Rights
From 2017 and onwards the Academy of Transparency and Human Rights initiates , an annual honorary award to be granted to individuals, institutions or actions that have substantially contributed to the promotion of Transparency and/or the Protection of Human Rights.
Every year, submissions are accepted upon announcement by providing a full curriculum vitae in the case of individuals or any document that describes the overall activity or a specific action in the case of institutions. In any case additional documents that support a candidacy can be submitted as well.
The personnel and the members of the European Public Law Organization, the members of the Academic Board and the Honorary Board of the Academy of Transparency and Human Rights and affiliated actions are not allowed to participate as candidates.
Τhe Academic Board of the Academy of Transparency and Human Rights will evaluate the candidacies and come to a decision in a special meeting:
The award will be granted during a public ceremony which will be announced in the official websites of the Academy of Transparency and Human Rights and the European Public Law Organization.
