Ιnstitute for Humanitiesand CultureNicos SvoronosThe Institute for Humanities and Culture Nicos Svoronos is hereby established in memory of the late professor who excelled in the combination of Humanities and Culture with Law and Governance. The Institute constitutes an institution of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), andis subjected to the decisions taken by the Boardof Directors, the General Assembly, the Executive Committee and the Director of the EPLO, following the Rules and Regulations of the Organization. It is established to promote study, research and training and to organize various initiatives and events in the area of administrative,  nancial, judicial, defense, religious, cultural affairs and international relations, as well as the arts, music, archeology, popular culture, everyday life, etc. On October 23, 2015, at the Auditorium of the Byzantine Museum of Athens, theInstitute organized the of cial presentation of the new book “Byzantine Diplomatics. The documents of civil servants” of Mary Nystazopoulou-Pelekidou, Emeritus Professor of the University of Ioannina.The speakers was:- Alcmene Stavridou-Zafraka, Emeritus Professor, AristotleUniversity of Thessaloniki;- Eleftheria Papagianni, Professor, School of Law, Athens University and- Triantafyllitsa Maniati-Kokkini, Assistant Professor, School of Philosophy, Athens University.Coordinator was Kalliopi (Kelly) A.
