Bourdara On June 17, 2015, at the courtyard of the Byzantine Museum of Athens, the Institute organized the presentation of the new book by Kalliopi A. Bourdara, Professor of Lawat the Athens University, “Kathosiosis and Tyrannis... A political offense conducted in Byzantium. 8th-13th century”.Professor Emeritus of the AthensLaw School and former President ofthe Parliament, Anna Psarouda Benaki, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Athens and director of the Institute of Historical Research, Taxiarhis Kollias andProfessor at the Athens Law School Eleftheria Papagianni presented the author. The event was introduced and moderated by journalist Yannis Politis.The author herself spoke of the many years of research behind the book that started, she said, from her postgraduate studies.The event was attended, among many others, by the former Prime Minister Mr. Panagiotis Pikrammenos, former Ministers Dora Bakoyannis, Marietta Giannakou, Dimitris Sioufas, and Kostis Hatzidakis.100 ACTIVITY REPORT 2016
