infoTECHNICAL COOPERATION STATE FOCUS GREECELegal Counseling to the Attica RegionThe project was co-funded by the Hellenic Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights.Within 2012-2015, the EPLO served as the legal expert to the Attica Region on public procurement. Speci cally, the EPLO provided its support to the Attica Region during the drafting of calls for the implementation of public works, during the course of the actual bid, at the drafting and signing of the contracts for the implementation of the public works, as well as during the actual implementation of the contracts.The project was based on ve components: Legal advice and control of the contents of tenders and contracts for public works, services and supplies; Legal representation of the Attica Region; Consultancy for speci c legal enquiries received by the AtticaRegion related to the tendering processes; Legal research and consultancy; Detailed legal reports to serve the needs of the Attica Region.114 ACTIVITY REPORT 2016
