The EPLO is a leader and the partner is the Danish Trademark and Patent Office (DKPTO). Duration:18 months (from 1/7/2016 to 31/1/2018).The EPLO is a leader of a new Twinning project “Border Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights” aimed to establish in Turkey a more effective copyright system in order to promote creative and copyright based industries. The project started in July 2016 and has a duration of 18 months, until January 2018.The speci c objective of the project is to strengthen the administrative capacities of all related institutions and providing additional support for the judiciary in the copyright eld as wellas raising awareness of stakeholders regarding copyright, the importance and the bene ts of an effective IP system for fostering the creative economy and also promoting strong coordination between the public institutions and the private sector.The project aims to the following results:1. Further enhanced Administrative Capacity2. More supported and cooperated judiciary on legal practices in the eld of copyright3. Increased awareness among public and private stakeholders onthe signi cance of relationship between an effective intellectual property system and development of creative and copyright-based industries4.
