students from all elds of social sciences such as law, politics, economics, sociology, history, philosophy and international relations, as well as to trainee lawyers, lawyers and of cials of international organizations and domestic administrations who might have no background in interdisciplinary and seek ways to continue their education.The participants attend classes in the various elds conducted by eminent professors from prestigious Universities fromall over the world. All courses are seminar-like classes and colloquia, and active class- participation is encouraged.The GLG Summer School offers four days of courses for approximately 24 hours of seminars in total. Students are also invited to attenda conference on a topic determined annually by the Directors. The President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Procopios Pavlopoulos on July 27, 2016 at the Presidential Mansion.“The Global Law & Governance – Summer School of the EPLO is an innovative school”, stressed inter alia H.E. The President. “Its originality, perhaps globally, is that it allows an interdisciplinary, holistic in my opinion, approximation of Law, public policy and economics, because it allows to see on the one side the infrastructure, the economy and public policy, that shape the Law and on the other side to see that same law coming into effect through the application of in Public policy and Economy. And it is clear that such a program, with global dimensions that is possible through the EPLO lead us -gradually and certainly with many dif culties- in European integration, but also in global integration”.“Indeed our program combines unique features” mentioned in his speech the Director of the School Mr. Ioannis Lianos, Professor in the University College of London. “It is interdisciplinary, combining many different typologies, concerning legal systems and derivatives that generate social sciences”, he added.
