EDUCATION  ΜAIN ACTIVITIESAcademic Year2015 / 2016 Participation in the Conference of the State Parties to UNCAC Collaboration with the Supreme Administrative Court of ThailandThe Academy of Transparency & HumanRights of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) in collaboration with the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand, undertook for the second time the Training Programon Political, Administrative and JudicialSystem of Greece for a delegation of Judges from the Supreme Administrative Court of Thailand.The program was conducted from the 20th to the 27th of September 2015 in Sounion, Greece. Prof. G. Gerapetritis, Prof. Ch. Gortsos,Prof. St. I. G. Koutnatzis, Prof. Dr. Ch.Tsiliotis, Dr. Ch. Chalanouli, Dr. Vassileios Magklaras, Mr. P. Alexopoulos, Mr. P. Danias participated as lecturers in the program.Awards of Certificates to members of the Supreme Administrative Court of ThailandIt was conducted in four days of coursesthat included a historical & constitutional overview of the Modern Greek state, an overview of the Greek Judicial system, a course on Judicial control of administrative action and the Audit Authorities: It included, besidesthe courses, two study visits at the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority and at the Council of State along with a day trip in Epidavros and Nafplion, sites of historic signi cance.The program continues successfully for the current academic year 2016 (Sounion, September 19-26, 2016).Prof. D. Ziouvas, Member of the Academic Board, participated in the 6th session of the Conference of the State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (St. Petersburg, November 2-6, 2015). Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Of ce for Drugs & CrimeThe Academy systematically cultivated a step-by-step cooperation frameworkwith the United Nations Of ce for Drugs& Crime througha series of meetings which led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the EPLO and the aforementioned Of ce (Vienna, February 26, 2016). Based on this agreement, an educational cooperation is now institutionally possible in the area of anticorruption. Participation in the UNCAC 7th session of the Implementation Review GroupThe Academy participated in the 7th Sessionof the Implementation Review Group ofthe United Nations Convention against Corruption, established by the United Nations Of ce for Drugs & Crime (Vienna, August 22-26, 2016).84 ACTIVITY REPORT 2016
