ABOUT US / NEWSH.E. the President of the Hellenic RepublicMr. Procopiοs Pavlopoulos speaking at the ceremony.The EPLO on September 10, 2015 inaugurated its new building in the historical Plaka district, in the center of Athens. The former Byzantine Residenceis situated across from the entrance of the Gate of the Roman Agora at the foothills of the Sacred Rock of Acropolis, and bridges beautifully the Classical and the Roman eras with the Byzantine and current periods.Now, through the EPLO, the buildinghas the chance to live again. The building nowadays, modern and technically robust, supports important functions of the EPLO and hosts many conferences, events and core activities of the Organization.The Inauguration ceremony of the new building in Plaka was attended and welcomed by H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic Mr. Procopiοs Pavlopoulos.Greek and Foreign politicians, members of the Government and from the Academia attended the event, such as: H.E. the Serb34 ACTIVITY REPORT 2016
