The ERPL is now in its 99th issue.To chronicle the evolution of national public law in the enlarged geopolitical area of Europe, the Review presents, in each issue, recent developments in the domestic legal order which are summarized and analyzedby authorities in the eld. The countries currently represented by chronicles in the ERPL are: Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania,The Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine. Developmentson the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and of the European Court of Human Rights are also presented.The ERPL devotes one issue of its quarterly publication to the conference of the European Group of Public Law (EGPL), which meets annually to discuss a particular public law issue of contemporary importance, with high- quality contributions providing a European as well as an international perspective. Recent conference topics have included: Public Law and the Economic Crisis; Public Law and Solidarity; New Challenges to Democracy; and The New European Economic Governance.Another journal published by the EPLOis the Central and Eastern European Legal Studies, which was launched as a periodical publication in 2013 and aims at giving the opportunity to academics coming from CEE countries and also to academics from other countries specializing in this eld, to come together and exchange views on public law issues of these countries.The European Politeia is the third journal published by the EPLO under the scienti c supervision of the Greek Center of European Studies and Research (EKEME) of the EPLO and constitutes a new publishing initiative during the reported period, as mentionedThe first two issues of the new bi-annual journal “European Politeia”.before.One main distinctive feature of the EPLOPublications is that they give the opportunity to researchers to access an international audience, amongst others by choosing through a variety of languages for their submissions.Thus, the ERPL expresses its commitment to linguistic diversity by accepting submissions in seven languages: English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, German and Italian, whereas the CEELS accepts articles in English, French, Russian, German, Italian as well as in the native languages of authors coming from Central and Eastern European countries (including the Turkish and Greek languages). The same policy is followed by the European Politeia journal, which is seeking contributions in English, French and German.Apart from the European Review of Public Law, which is the oldest publication of the Organization, the EPLO also emphasizes the special series of the ERPL:- the European Public Law Series,- the Academy of European Public Law Series, - the European Papers, and- the European Environmental Law Series.Stand-alone publications are also among the EPLO Editions Of ce activities.134 ACTIVITY REPORT 2016
