EPLO delegation to congratulate the new President of the Italian Republic
The Director of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, was received by the President of the Italian Republic, Professor Sergio Mattarella, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. During his official visit at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, Professor Flogaitis was accompanied by Professor Giuliano Amato, former Prime Minister of Italy, Judge at the Constitutional Court of Italy and representative of the Italian Republic on the Board of Directors of the EPLO and Professor Sabino Cassese, former Minister, Judge at the Constitutional Court of Italy and President of the European Scientific Council of the EPLO (EGPL) .
The new President of the Italian Republic, who took office in early February, was thoroughly informed on the developments of the EPLO, whose Italy is a founding member State, expressed his absolute satisfaction and congratulated the Organization.
At the same time, he promised to support the EPLO undertaking initiatives both in Italy and worldwide on a variety of issues extensively discussed with the EPLO delegation.
