The EPLO Director Meets with the Rector of the University of Sarajevo

The EPLO Director, Professor Spyridon Flogaitis, accompanied by the Greek Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Karolos Gadis, met today with the Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Professor Dr. Muharem Avdispahic. 

During the meeting, Professor Flogaitis presented the history and activities of the Organization that he directs, and said, "The European Public Law Organization (EPLO), of which Bosnia and Herzegovina is a full member, is the successor to the European Public Law Center. The EPLO was established in 2007 as an Athens-based international organization. More than 50 universities and foundations from around the world are member of the EPLO. In almost 15 years of existence and development, the EPLO has organized and conducted training sessions, designed educational programs, publications, undertaken consulting activities, organized conferences and lecture series, directed technical missions, organized public campaigns and made important partnerships in more than 170 projects of all sizes."

Professor Flogaitis expressed his wish that the University of Sarajevo become a member and join the work of the EPLO. He also presented the possible cooperation modalities involving education and scientific research, with the aim of educating young people, especially in the public administration sector.

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Muharem Avdispahic supported the activities of the EPLO, and it was agreed that in the period to come, the administrative procedures for achieving cooperation within the framework of the proposed projects will be undertaken.
