Dr. Ioannis Sarmas is the new President of the Hellenic Court of Audit

Dr. Ioannis Sarmas, Vice President at the Supreme Financial Court of Greece up to now and a long-standing member of the European Group of Public Law, the scientific council of the EPLO, is the new President of the Hellenic Court of Audit and is appointed in this position for the next four years.

The newly-appointed President mentioned in his statement: "I believe that within the next two years Greece will have the most modern and effective Court of Audit in Europe with the existing staff, that is, with today's serving judges and judicial staff."

The EPLO congratulates Dr. Ioannis Sarmas and wishes him success in his new duties.
