Project Title:

Co Laboratories of Structured Democratic Dialogue on "Removing the obstacles to attract more Clinical Trials in Greece"

With the aim of identifying the challenges and setting actions for attracting and retaining clinical studies in Greece, the European Institute of Management and Governance, with the generous support of SFEE and in cooperation with the Institute of the 21st Century Agoras, held two co-laboratories of Structured Democratic Dialogue (S.D.D.), which took place at the premises of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) in Legrena, Sounion. The first SDD co-laboratory was held on 29 & 30 November and the second on 13 and 14 December 2013. In these co-laboratories 25 experts and representatives from 11 government agencies and the private sector have participated.
The preparation and design of these co-laboratories was implemented with the help of a scientific team consisting of representatives of the EPLO, the Institute of the 21st Century Agoras and two experts on the issue of clinical trials. The scientific team was responsible for the selection of experts and agency representatives (stakeholders) as well as the agenda of the co-laboratories. The results of the SDD co-laboratories have been announced at a formal event at the Athens premises of the EPLO.
