Ronny Abraham re-elected as Judge of the Int'l Court of Justice

We are happy to announce that the General Assembly of the United Nations has re‑elected yesterday Ronny Abraham as Judge of the International Court of Justice. Ronny Abraham (France), has been a member of the International Court of Justice since 15 February 2005, was re‑elected as of 6 February 2009 and has served as President of the Court since 6 February 2015.  He is a long standing member of the European Group of Public Law -the Scientific Council of the EPLO-  as well as former Member of its Board of Directors.

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, he holds a degree in Advanced Studies in Public Law from the University of Paris I and a degree from the Institut d’etudes politiques of Paris, where he was also a professor of international law until 1998.
