The second is Rome which has left as a heritage the concept of the State and its institutions. Thirdly, Christianity which projects the sense of humanitarianism. All these are interconnected and it is not possible to refer to them without speaking about the influence of Ancient Greece to modern legal reality and to Philosophy. An influence which transcended the centuries of human thought and has reached Europe and certainly Russia".

The event which coincided with the “Year of Aristotle” and the “Greek-Russian Year” was divided into two parts:

-The first, chaired by Professor Kalliopi (Kelly) Bourdara, along with the speakers: Professor Dmitry Dozhdev, Dean of Law, RANEPA and Professor Giannis Tassopoulos, University of Athens.
-The second chaired by the Vice Commissioner of the State Dr. Ioannis Karkalis along with the speakers: Professor Anton Mikhailov, PhD, Department of Theory of Law, RANEPA and Athena Demopoulou, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Athens.

The Conference was part of the Training program that the Academy of Transparency and Human Rights of the EPLO is organizing for selective students of the Presidential Academy on November 20-28, 2016 entitled "International Law and Diplomacy"

RANEPA is the first educational institution of Russia which has joined the Board of the European Public Law Organization, while this program was launched in 2013 and is repeated this year for the third time.
