Public Debate on Effective Justice and Development

The Institute for Justice and Growth of the European Public law Organization (EPLO), is organizing a second event, this time entitled "Effective justice and development" within the series of scientific events under the main topic "Law as a pillar of development" that started out with the successful public debate on “The contribution of law in the country's development" on April 4, 2016.

This new public debate will take place on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016, from 18.00 to 20.30 hours at the EPLO premise in the old Athens district (Plaka district, entrance of the Roman Forum. Dioscuron Street and Pikilis Square).

Moderator of the discussion will be the Vice-President of the Council of State mr Athanasios Rados and the main speakers include: mr Kyriakos Ikonomou, President of the Court of Appeal, mr George Triantafyllakis, Professor of commercial law at the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace, mr Panos Panagiotopoulos, Prosecutor, mr Polychronis Tsiridis, Lawyer NR, mr Vassilis Androulakis, senior member of the Council of State and mr George Gerapetritis, Associate Professor of constitutional law, Faculty of law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Welcome speeches will be provided by Professor Spyridon Flogaitis Director of the EPLO and mr Nikolas Kanellopoulos, President of the Institute for Justice and Growth.
