Workshop on Business and Human Rights in South East Europe

The European Law and Governance School and the European Public Law Organization are pleased to announce the workshop on ‘Business and Human Rights in South East Europe’ scheduled to take place at the premises of the Organization in Plaka on December 3, 2021.

With the participation of scholars, practitioners and experts from the region, the workshop intends to create a platform for regional reflection on the particular challenges that business activities pose to the protection, respect and guarantee of human rights. In addition, it seeks to foster dialogue on potential ways to achieve responsible business conduct that respects human rights and ultimately contributes to rule of law and democracy at the respective states.

The workshop is generously funded by the programme “re:constitution – Exchange and Analysis on Democracy and the Rule of Law in Europe,” implemented by Berlin-based Forum Transregionale Studien and Democracy Reporting International and funded by Stiftung Mercator.
